Enough Is Enough
Thanks for your kind words.
Jim | @jstorerj
Congratulations! This is awesome news for you and for social media as a discipline.
(My favorite car my family ever had was a Ford Capri Mk II in metallic aquamarine. That thing was just beautiful)
This seems especially appropriate, given your new employer: May the road rise up to meet you and the wind be ever at your back.
I must say I've never been too big a fan of the color blue, but I must say you're causing me to reconsider.
Last I love the podcast interview that you did over at engaging brands.
Seriously though, we'll miss you and you'll always be my Consigliere.
The fact that you're leaving to head up Ford's social media efforts is a tribute and testament to - first and foremost - you and your achievements, together with the work you did at crayon and without question, the rise and growing importance of conversational marketing.
PS If you're lucky, you might still catch our President-elect celebrating his Al Gore endorsement :)
It's been a privilege to have been part of the crayon team. I'm honored when you call me Consigliere, because I know the role has really meant something to you over this past year.
My own personal rise could not have occurred without crayon, and I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to work with some of the most creative and talented minds in the biz. Here's hoping I can continue to bring that to Ford.
And as to politics, let's just say my color scheme is a bit off. :)
This is an outstanding opportunity, and there's obviously nobody better than you to run with it. Congratulations to you, Scott, and congratulations to Ford on the brilliant hire! I hope they're reading these comments, too.
Let's make sure we get in one last Tweetup before you leave town!
You're joining an amazing team of people (as I'm sure you know); looking forward to pushing the envelope ever further with you at the helm!

Congrats and Buena Suerte!
Now, a few rules:
1) You root for the Pistons, you're dead to me
2) You root for the Tigers, you're a loser
3) You root for the Red Wings, you're front-running scum
4) You root for the Lions... lol, just kidding there
Other than that, stock up on Detroit Shock gear and have a blast!
I'm gonna miss you guys too. Boston is a unique city when it comes to social media. It seems that all of the stereotypes of New England insularity are totally destroyed as a result.
Seems like moving out of Boston is the thing to do this summer. I hope Michigan treats you well.
Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

On a personal level I'll miss our daily chats disguised loosely as work and as Joe noted - your impersonations - you NEED to record your Peter Griffin for us as a parting gift. We'll get you a turnip of your very own as a parting gift.
I can't begin to thank you enough for your support and professional attitude, not to mention your dry wit and love of the Britcoms. It's been a pleasure working with you and I can honestly say - and this is no kiss-up (because I'm not like that) - that ooVoo has been the best client I've ever worked with. The success of My ooVoo Day and the good that we did for the Frozen Pea Fund were just icing on the cake.
I'll see what I can go about Peter Griffin & family. You might have to buy me a few drinks first. ;-)
New beginnings are so exciting. This one holds so much promise.
Can't wait to hear about all of your successes to come.
Tell the boys in Motor City to install a stealth mode in their hybrids like the Japanese do. I'm not kidding.
Seriously, I think you coming over is a great move for our industry, and I do believe what "they" say about rising tides and boats. I'll welcome the contributions you can make, and I hope we'll keep pushing each other to excel.
Seriously, congratulations. This is great news.
Thank you, Chris. I'm looking forward to collaborating with you and creating some great social media stories from Motor City.
On the color/colour of blue... I just attended the Voices That Matter Conference in Nashville. I was very luck to meet and hang out with Molly E. Holzschlag of Molly.com and on Twitter @mollydotcom. Molly presented on designing with colors. She is seriously a color ninja should you ever need one.
Congrats again buddy.
I'll be thinking of you each time I jump into my 98 Tauras. :-)
Borders next year - I intend to me. Yes, if you need me to test some new
cars please do let me know. I also look good in blue, but I'm not picky. :-)
LOL!
Cheers Scott.
Dave

I've always thought you were a class act, and congratulate Ford for picking someone who is going to really help take them to the next level with social media.
Very sorry about losing you to Dearborn, but know you will always have plenty of friends here in Boston, should you visit.
My hope is to continue to attend events and to connect with my colleagues in the industry. I hope that will include you.
Welcome. :-)
Welcome to Michigan!!! We need more folks like yourself here. I am on the other side of the state in Grand Rapids, trying to start a Social Media Revolution to help change the economic climate in Michigan. It is going to be great having you in Michigan we will have to meet up!
Woo hoo!
May the force be with you and if not, well, we're behind you!
I will miss you in Boston, but I love Ford. Grew up in a Ford family, drive a Ford, and worked with Ford on an event at their CT Parts Distribution Center. Best wishes to you. Ford is lucky to get you.
Sorry to be late for the party. Been a little pre-occupied with the floods! I just wanted to add my congrats to the crowds! Ford made a very wise choice in finding someone who understands both the how and the heart of social media.
Enjoy the new adventure!
Drew
I've been picking through some feeds and just came to this one.
I'm sorry to hear you're leaving the area, but am happy for you and your family that you've got this amazing opportunity. Congratulations, your hard work is paying off.
So, now how do we schedule that drink we've been discussing for about 6 months?
All the best!
Enjoy the ride.
Best always,
Peter
Good luck.

I was reffered to your blog by Karl Bloss because he heard that I had graduated with a degree in Advertising and had a strong interest in website design and web media relations. I have to say that although this was my first visit and I have yet to read all of your content, I was very impressed by it and I'm eager to read more of what you have to say about social networking. Keep up the good work!
