The main stream's monopoly is fine, but it is refrehing to see the common citizen involved in community, economics, science, and social affairs through their blogs.

Joe
(http://socialmediamarketing...)

Re: A New Day

Not yet. I love my Edge! It makes me smile every time I look at it. :) And the AWD is great here in MN
http://flickr.com/photos/14...

And our Explorer was the best vehicle we've ever had.
Connie

Re: A New Day

Haha, it's all good. Thanks for updating. And again, thank you so much for the chance to do this.

Re: A New Day

Sounds like fun. I had the best time. I learned a lot about Ford and about their cars on the track. I really hope I get to do more with Ford. Oh, and my last name is Lewis, haha. Thank you again!

Re: A New Day

Thanks for the opportunity Scott. I think it's a great idea to think outside the box on your traditional "auto bloggers" and look more into "lifestyle" bloggers. I know I can speak to my blog and my audience, and I would say that although I am not an auto blogger, I tend to write about many of the categories you mentioned, including automotive. I have a personal connection with my audience, which I think can tend to be more influential then say Autoblog, which has like 50 posts a day that don't necessarily get read by your average person in an automotive manufacturers key demographic.

I look forward to continuing coverage of the event today, and actually get into some car stuff!

Re: A New Day

Way start things off! I love the fact that you (obviously) did your research to come up with a short, highly targeted list instead of trying to reach out in a scattershot fashion.

Can't wait to learn more about the green cars. Escape Hybrids are already big in my crowd!

Re: A New Day

Nice new approach on expanding the tent. It's great to see a bunch of lifestyle twitter peeps like @savvyauntie, @technosailor, and @queenofspain on the list.

Best of luck,
